During the COVID-19 pandemic, she also led the transition services from in-person care to virtual platforms to support continuity, access, and quality of care.
Training, teaching, and mentorship have been central to Dr. Rodriguez’s career. She has served as training director for a large psychology training program at a VA healthcare system, supervised and mentored more than 100 psychology trainees, including externs, interns, and residents, and has provided education and workshops for psychologists, social workers, counselors, psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals. She also serves as faculty at Nova Southeastern University, where she supervises psychology doctoral candidates and has taught numerous psychology courses across various college/university settings.
